GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team lost two matches at the Battlefield Classic at Gettysburg College Friday evening.

In the first match, the Knights fell to Salisbury in three sets, 25-12, 25-17, 25-20. Caitlin Cantwell led the team with 10 digs. Cecily Scavicchio dished out 13 assists and had nine digs. Jerrae Robinson notched five kills while Emilee Gruse added four kills.

In the second match, Neumann fell to Messiah College in three close sets, 25-23, 25-23, 25-21. Melissa Haines had seven digs while Ashley Mathis had five. Gruse notched six kills while Mathis added five. Scavicchio dished out 18 assists.

Neumann wraps up the Battlefield Classic tomorrow with matches against Randolph Macon and Penn State-Behrend.
