GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball dropped two matches at the Battlefield Classic at Gettysburg College on Saturday afternoon.

In the first match, the Knights fell to Randolph Macon in three sets, 25-11, 25-9, 25-10.

Ashley Mathis, Lauren Sheehan and Jerrae Robinson each had four kills. Cecily Scavicchio dished out 17 assists. Melissa Haines notched five digs while Chrystina Amelotti had four.

In the final match of the Classic, Neumann fell to Penn State-Behrend in three sets, 25-16, 2-14, 25-21.

Mathis led the team with six kills. Robinson added four kills and three service aces. Scavicchio had 12 assists and 10 digs.

Neumann will head to the Muhlenberg College Invitational next weekend for a four-game tournament. 

Melissa Haines was one of 12 players named to the All-Tournament team out of the 17 team tournament.
