EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team defeated Wilkes University, 2-1, Sunday afternoon in non-conference action.
Sergio Garcia and Joe Larkins each netted a goal for the Knights. Zach Sell and Lee Collins both added assists. Zac Ratliff made five saves in net.
T.J. Brandt scored for Wilkes. Kaleb Smith had three saves in net.
Wilkes scored first at the 14:47 mark. Garcia tied the game at one 10 minutes later. Larkins then netted the eventual game winner in the 39th minute.
Neumann improves to 1-1 on the season. The Knights will travel to Johns Hopkins on Wednesday for a non-conference match-up. The game is slated to start at 7 p.m.
