READING, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team fell to Albright College, 3-2 in overtime, Tuesday night.

Brianna Convery had a goal and an assist for the Knights. Melissa Hood also had a goal while Lauren Hood added an assist. Sarah Alphin made two saves in net.

Albright scored 21 seconds into the overtime period to win the non-conference game. The Lions scored the only goal of the first half at the 30:33 mark.

M. Hood scored at the 49:00 mark to tie the game at one. Albright would retake the lead 10 minutes later, but Convery would knot the game at two just two minutes later to send the game into overtime.

Neumann is now 1-1 on the young season. The Knights open a four-game home stand on Thursday as they host King's College. The game is slated to start at 4 p.m.
