ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's basketball team defeated Philadelphia Biblical University, 75-47, Monday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action. The Knights remain undefeated in the CSAC with the win, improving to 5-0 and 10-4 overall.

Brittany Whetts scored 16 points in 19 minutes to lead the Knights. 12 other players notched points for Neumann. Katie Young netted eight while Jordan Elgart added seven.

Dani Norton scored 23 for the Crimson Eagles.

The Knights jumped out to an early lead, taking a 16-6 advantage five minutes into the game. Neumann would build its lead to as many as 33 points in the first half.

The Crimson Eagles kept pace in the second half, but the early deficit was too much to overcome. The Knights cruised to the 75-47 win.

Neumann travels to Cabrini on Thursday for CSAC action. Tip-off is at 6 p.m. followed by the men at 8 p.m.
