LAPLUME, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team fell to Keystone College, 75-45, Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference action.
Na'Sheed Linton led the Knights with 10 points. Toure' Wright had a team-high nine rebounds.
Spencer Lunger led the Giants with 18 points. Kenneth Hardnett added 14 points and Malcolm Boone netted 10. The team hit 13 three-pointers, led by Spencer with six.
Ty Robinson opened the game with a three pointer. The Giants responded with a three-pointer of their own. Keystone then took off and never looked back. The Giants built their lead up to double-figures, 26-15, with 6:47 on the clock in the first half. Keystone took a 39-22 advantage into the locker rooms.
Keystone did not let up in the second half and crept its lead up to 30 points by the end, 75-45.
Neumann (9-9, 7-4 CSAC) will look to rebound at Marywood on Monday evening. Tip-off is following the women's game at approximately 8 p.m.
