ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team defeated Gwynedd-Mercy College, 3-1, Wednesday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play. Game scores were (25-14, 25-20, 21-25, 25-15).

Neumann won the first set 25-14. The Knights then had to come-from-behind to take the second set, 25-20. Gwynedd-Mercy took set three 25-21. The Knights wrapped up the win, 25-15, in the fourth set.

Katelin Kuklentz led the Neumann offense with 19 kills. Cecily Scavicchio handed out 39 assists and 13 digs. Natalie George notched nine kills. Victoria Limmina dished out five service aces.

Before the match, the Knights recognized their three seniors: Lauren Sheehan, Deanna Christy and Chrystina Amelotti.

Neumann (12-14, 7-2 CSAC) will travel to Widener on Saturday to take part in a tri-match. The Knights will face host Widener at 10 a.m. and Misericordia at noon.
