SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team picked up its fifth Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) win by defeating Marywood University, 3-2, Saturday afternoon.

Ellyn Jones, Christina Hicks, and Megan Scott scored goals for the Knights. Megan George, Caitlin Donahue and Erica Crabtree added assists.

Jones scored the first goal, nine minutes into the first half to open the scoring.

Marywood's Amber Stevens, scored at 28:00 minute mark to tie the game.

Hicks scored the Knights second goal at the 36:00 minute mark. Two minutes later, Scott scored to give Neumann a 3-1 lead going into the second half.

Marywood would score with 20 minutes left on the clock to cut the lead to one. Neumann held of the Pacers to bring home the win.

Neumann finishes the regular season with an overall record of 7-12 and 5-3 in the conference. The Knights have earned a bid to the CSAC playoffs and will wait for their seeding.
