ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team fell to No. 2 Plattsburgh St. 3-1 Saturday evening in ECAC West action.

Nikki Blazenko scored the Knights goals. Shannon Donnelly made 42 saves in net.

Plattsburgh opened the scoring 1:36 minutes in to game on a power play. The Cardinals scored two more times in the second period.

Balzenko scored her goal in the third period, assisted by Jessica Schroeder and Kayla Dubowski.

Neumann is now 2-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference. The two teams will meet again tomorrow afternoon beginning at 3 p.m.
