ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team defeated Immaculata University, 70-54, Monday evening in Colonial State Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Marquise Boggs led Neumann with 16 points. Patrick O'Connor and Bill Slade netted 14 points each. Mark Blount pulled in a team-high nine rebounds.

Nelson Torres led Immaculata with 11 points. Raheem Roher added nine.

Neumann started strong and scored the first seven points of the game. The Knights then built up a 10 point lead, 15-5, with 12:36 left in the first half. The Mighty Macs then scored the next five points for a 15-10 game. That was as close as Immaculata would get as Neumann built its lead back. The Knights held a 12 point advantage, 37-25, at halftime.

Neumann would hold a double-digit advantage the entire second half for the 70-54 win.

Neumann (2-2, 1-0 CSAC) will travel to Centenary College on Saturday for conference action.
