ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team defeated Marywood University, 82-64, Monday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Five Neumann players notched double-figures. Patrick O'Connor and Ramone Williams led the way with 13 points. Marquise Boggs and Bill Slade each had 12 points while Rich Whitten added 11.

Matthew Medici led the Pacers with 12 points. Tyrek Coleman added 10 points. Lenny Martin pulled down 10 boards.

The teams traded baskets in the first six minutes of the game. Then with 13:51 on the clock and a 10-9 Pacer lead, the Knights went on a 13-0 run to jump out to a 22-10 lead. Marywood would get to within four points a few times in the first half. Neumann took a 39-30 lead at the half.

O'Connor scored the first basket in the second half and Neumann never relinquished a double-digit lead the rest of the way. The largest lead the Knights held was 24, 75-52, with 2:36 remaining.

Neumann (3-3, 2-1 CSAC) will travel to Valley Forge Christian College on Wednesday beginning at 7 p.m. Marywood is now 4-2 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
