ASTON, Pa – Neumann University women's lacrosse fell in its Colonial States Athletic Conference opener 25-7 to Marywood University Tuesday afternoon.

Alex Bohen led the Knights offensive, netting five goals. Olivia Speakman and Mary Kate Doherty each added a goal. Tiffany Baker made her first appearance between the pipes, making 19 saves.

The Pacers saw six players with multiple goals. Taylor McKeown led all scorers with nine goals. Allie Sodl added seven goals. Jennifer Silvestri had three tallies. Three other players each had two goals.

Neumann scored two early goals and played strong defensively. Midway through the first half the Pacers scored nine unanswered goals to pull away from the Knights. Bohen responded with two goals for Neumann before the half came to a close.

Bohen scored two more goals in the second half. Speakman netted another goal for the Knights with just eleven seconds remaining in regulation. Neumann drops to 0-1 in conference play with the 25-7 loss to Marywood.

Neumann travels to Rosemont on Saturday afternoon for another conference game. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
