ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Men's Tennis team fell, 8-1, to non-conference opponent University of Scranton on Sunday afternoon.

The Knights dropped all three doubles points. The duo of Dan Harnos and Chris Brown battled at first doubles but eventually fell to Scott Melideo and Joe Morra, 8-5.

Brown pulled out the only singles win for the Knights, defeating Melideo in a third set tie breaker. Brown won the first set 7-6 (7-4), dropped the second 6-4, but came out victorious winning the third set tie breaker 10-5.

Neumann returns back on the road when they face Cabrini College in conference action on Wednesday. The match is set to start at 3:30pm.
