Field Hockey Drops to King's

ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey fell to King's (Pa.) College, 5-1, Tuesday afternoon in its home opener.

Lindsey Kasecamp made 13 saves in net for the Knights. Chelsa O'Donnell had Neumann's two shots and scored the goal.

The Lady Monarchs scored two goals in the first to take a 2-0 lead at halftime. King's then added three more goals for a 5-0 advantage with 12 minutes left in the game. O'Donnell scored for the Knights off an assist from Megan Scott and on a penalty corner with two-and-a-half minutes remaining. Sarah Diener took the penalty corner for Neumann.

Neumann (0-5) will host York College on Thursday under the light. The game is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
