ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team defeated Oswego State 3-1 Friday evening in ECAC West action.

Jasper Thomson put the Knights up 1-0 at the 14:33 mark of the first period on a breakaway.

Oswego tied the game at one five minutes into the second period. Kayla Dubowski netted the eventual game-winner at the 9:21 mark of the second. Brittany Metcalfe dished the puck to Dubowski.

Khristine Acosta gave Neumann some insurance on the power play in the third period. Jessica Schroeder and Diane Peters assisted on the goal at the 13:04 mark.

Shannon Donnelly made 21 saves in net for her eighth win of the season.

Neumann improves to 8-4-3 overall and 5-4 in the ECAC West. Neumann and Oswego will face-off again tomorrow afternoon beginning at 4 p.m.
