ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team fell to No. 5 Manhattanville College 3-1 Saturday evening in ECAC West action.
Michael Rey scored the game opener for the Knights at the 1:24 into the second period. Manhattanville then tied the game midway through the second. The Valients took the lead at the 14:22 mark of the second.
Manhattanville added an insurance goal on the power play late in the third period for the 3-1 win.
Matt Tendler made 24 saves in net.
Neumann is now 10-6-3 overall, 4-3 in the ECAC West. Manhattanville is 14-4-1, 2-4 in the conference. The Knights will travel to Brockport next weekend for one non-conference game.
