ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team defeated Centenary College 84-66 Thursday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Mark Blount led the Knights with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Rich Whitten also notched 14 points. Gerald Bryant and Patrick O'Connor each netted 11 points.

Rob Urie led the Cyclones with 16 points. Larry Lenahan added 14 points and 10 boards. Max Hughes notched 11 points.

The beginning of the game featured five ties and four lead changes. Neumann then went on a 13-2 run over the next five minutes to take a 38-26 lead. The Knights took a six point advantage, 42-36, into the locker room.

The Knights would continue to add to their lead during the second half and went up by as many as 20 twice towards the end of the game. 

Neumann improves to 9-8 on the season, 6-4 in the CSAC. Centenary is now 5-13 overall and 3-8 in the conference. The Knights travel to Keystone College on Saturday for a conference double-header. The women tip-off at 1 p.m. followed by the men at 3 p.m.
