ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team defeated Rosemont College in three sets on Tuesday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) as Senior Night was celebrated. Game scores were 25-5, 25-14, 25-12.

Three seniors were honored during the pre-game: Katie Young, Maria Donahue and Natalie George.

Young put a performance on when it came to attacks. Each time she attacked the ball, it turned into a kill, leading the team with 13 and a 1.000 hitting percentage.

George was also impressive, notching 11 kills and a hitting percentage of .786. Cecily Scavicchio dished out 19 assists and Ashley Clark handed out 15 as they split the setter position.

Victoria Limmina led a team effort in digs with seven. Donahue added five.

The team combined for 18 service aces, led by Elaina Shooster with four while Donahue, Limmina and Katelin Kuklentz each had three.

Neumann improves to 9-1 in the conference and clinches a first-round bye in the playoffs.
