ASTON, Pa.- The Neumann University volleyball team suffered a loss to non-conference Lebanon Valley College Friday night. The Knights won the first set 25-22, but then dropped the next three sets in atypical fashion, 25-21, 25-20, 25-13.
The Knights Cecily Scavecchio (sr. Boothwyn, Pa. / Garnet Valley) had 35 assists and 13 digs. Katelin Kuklentz (so. Spring City, Pa. / St. Pius) had 17 kills and 14 digs, while Victoria Limmina (jr. Wilmington, Del. / Padua Academy) led the team with 15 digs.
“We got off to a good start injecting different girls into the line-up, but we couldn't maintain the momentum allowing LVC to settle in,” said Coach Jespersen. “We looked forward to this game and it's quite evident that we competed against a good team. We did do a lot of things right tonight.”
The Knights will play tomorrow Saturday October 8th in the Knights Fall fever Quad Match with Bridgewater College at 11 AM and Frostburg State University at 2:30 PM in The Mirenda Center.
