ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team defeated No. 7 Utica College 2-1 on Saturday evening in ECAC West action.

Andrew Love put the Knights on the board midway through the first period off a pass from Jeff Bienvenue and Harley Garrioch.

Uitca tied the game up at one part way through the second period.

Beinvenue gave the Knights the lead and eventual winning goal with 1:21 left in the second period as he tipped in a shot from Bill Foster.

Matt Tendler made 24 saves in net in his first start of the season.

Neumann will travel to Cortland next weekend for two non-conference games.
