SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team fell to Marywood University 71-54 on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Mark Blount led the Knights with 17 points and nine rebounds. Patrick O'Connor added 16 points.

The first half remained close, as the largest lead was eight by Marywood just before halftime.

The second half start much of the same way, but with 14:52 on the clock and the Pacers holding a 33-31 advantage, they went on a 17-2 run over the next five minutes to jump out to a 50-33 advantage.

The run was the difference in the game, as the Knights could not cut back into the lead and the Pacers came away with the 71-54 win.

Neumann (4-3, 1-2 CSAC) will host Baptist Bible on Wednesday evening at 8:00 PM in CSAC action.
