OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team dropped a 3-1 decision to ECAC West for Oswego State on Saturday afternoon.

The Lakers scored a goal in the first and two in the second to jump out to a 3-0 lead after two.

Brittany Metcalfe scored a power play goal with 12 seconds left in regulation to spoil the shutout bid. Edie Brenning and Kayla Dubowski assisted on the goal.

Allie Frank played will in her first start of the season and made 20 saves.

Neumann (1-5-2, 1-4-2 ECAC West) will have a home-and-home with Penn State next weekend in exhibition action.
