ASTON, Pa. – Mariah Farigrieve scored at the 13:18 mark of the second overtime to give the Neumann University women's ice hockey team a 2-1 win over Oswego State in an ECAC West first round game.
Neumann opened the scoring at the 11:49 mark of the first period when Jessica Schroeder scored shorthanded. Jennie Greenlee assisted on the goal.
Oswego tied the game at one in the second period on a power play goal.
Fairgrieve then scored midway through the second overtime to give the Knights the win. Schroeder assisted on the goal.
Shannon Donnelly made 23 saves in net.
Neumann (16-6-4) will travel up to Rochester, N.Y. next weekend for semifinal action. The Knights will face Plattsburgh St.
