CENTERVILLE, Mass. – The Neumann University men's basketball will travel to DeSales University on Wednesday, March 2 for an ECAC South Region First Round game.

Neumann is the No. 7 seed in the eight team tournament. DeSales is the No. 2 seed. This is the second straight appearance in the ECAC South Region for the Knights.

Earning the No. 1 seed is Lebanon Valley College. The Flying Dutchman will host No. 8 Marywood University. Catholic University earned the No. 3 seed and will host No. 6 Gallaudet University. In the 4-5 game, Misericordia University will host Wesley College.

The Knights reached the semifinals of the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) there they fell to the eventual champions, Cabrini College, 79-76.

Neumann is 16-11 on the season. Senior Marquise Boggs leads the Knights, averaging 17.7 points per game. Junior Patrick O'Connor chips in with 16.4 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. O'Connor was named to the second team All-Conference this season.

CSAC Rookie of the Year, freshman Mark Blount adds 9.9 points and leads the team with 7.7 rebounds. Blount also set the single-season record for blocks earlier this season. He currently has 67.

DeSales is 19-8 this season. The Bulldogs fell to Delaware Valley College in the Freedom Title Game, 79-58.

Tip-off on Wednesday is slated for 7:30 p.m.
