FROSTBURG, Md. – The Neumann University men's lacrosse team fell to Frostburg State, 20-9, Saturday afternoon in non-conference play.

Mark Consolo and Mike Pantelone each had three goals for the Knights. Steven Miner notched two assists.

Andrew Neubauer started the game and made eight saves in 20+ minutes. Ryan Davis made five saves in almost 25 minutes of action. Alex Becker was in net for the final quarter and made two saves.

Frostburg scored the first three goals of the game and held a 4-1 lead after one quarter. Frostburg would the net eight goals in the second quarter and took a 12-3 advantage into halftime.

Neumann notched the last three goals of the game, but it was deficit was too large to overcome.

Neumann is now 1-2 on the season. The Knights will travel to Messiah on Wednesday afternoon for a 4 p.m. face-off.
