ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team fell to Swarthmore College 20-5 on Tuesday evening in non-conference action.
Alexandra Bohen and Chelsa O'Donnell each notched two goals for the Knights. Erica Crabtree scored as well. Candice Oakley made 12 saves in net. Lindsey Kasecamp had three saves in 25:11.
Swarthmore came out strong and scored the first seven goals of the game before Bohen put the Knights on the board. The Garnet would notched seven more goals in the first half and take a 14-1 lead at the break.
The Knights notched two goals with a minute span in the second half to make the score 16-3 with 24 minutes left in regulation. O'Donnell netted her goals with 14:50 and 11:15 left in the second half. Swarthmore scored the game's final goal with 8:49 left in the game for the 20-5 final.
Neumann (2-7) will host Cedar Crest on Saturday in conference action beginning at 12 p.m.
