ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's lacrosse team fell to Marywood University, 17-6, on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Mark Consolo and Mike Pantelone each notched two goals in the game. Consolo also dished out two assists. Andrew Neubauer made 15 saved in net. Alex Becker made four saves in the fourth quarter.

Nick Ferraro scored the first goal of the game, 1:17 into the first quarter on the man advantage. The score remained 1-0 until Marywood scored with 3:24 left. The Pacers then notched two goals in the final 30 seconds to take a 3-1 advantage after one.

Marywood notched all six goals in the second quarter and took a 9-1 lead at the break.

The Pacers kept the pressure on and scored four of the five goals in the third quarter.

In the final quarter, Neumann scored the final three goals, but could not overcome the deficit and fell 17-6.

Neumann is now 3-8 overall and 1-3 in the conference. The Knights will travel to Dominican College on Wednesday afternoon for non-conference action beginning at 4 p.m.
