ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team picked up its second conference win with a 21-4 decision over Cedar Crest College on Saturday afternoon.
Alexandra Bohen scored four goals and dished out three assists to lead the Knights. Meghan Garsey and Lauren Frampton each notched three goals. Lindsey Kasecamp made five saves in net.
The Knights scored the first six goals of the afternoon within the first 10 minutes of the game. Neumann also scored the final six goals of the first half to take a 13-3 advantage into the break.
Neumann kept the pressure up and scored eight goals in the second half. The Falcons notched goal with 1:56 left in regulation, but the Knights had a big enough cushion and won 21-4.
Neumann improves to 3-7 on the season and 2-2 in the CSAC. The Knights travel to Marywood on Wednesday evening for conference action beginning at 7 p.m.
