WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team fell at King's (Pa.) College 5-0 on Thursday evening in non-conference action.

All five goals were scored in the first half. The Monarchs struck with two goals in the third minute of play to jump out to a 2-0 lead. They also scored in the 30^th, 40^th and 43^rd minute.

Maggie Carpenter made eight saves in net while Megan Scott had one defensive saves.

Neumann (1-6) travels to Immaculata University on Saturday for a conference game. Action is set to get underway at 11:00 AM.
