ASTON, Pa.- The Neumann University Field Hockey team came up short against Albright College in a non-conference match-up Thursday evening.

The Knights lone goal was scored by Freshman Ashley Verbonitz, who stood all alone in front of the Lion's goal. Verbonitz scored as she received a pass from Junior Ellyn Jones, but the lone goal was not enough to surpass Albright who finished the contest with a score of 2-1.

Sophomore goal keeper Lindsey Kasecamp had 5 saves in goal.

Neumann travels to the University of Scranton for another non-conference game on Saturday with a 3:30PM start.
