LA PLUME, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team fell to Keystone College, 97-83, on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Mark Blount led the Knights with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Patrick O'Connor chipped in with 19 and Mike Walukiewicz added 15.

The first half had seven ties in the first 13 minutes. With the score knotted at 30, the Knights went on a 12-4 run to take a 42-34 advantage. Neumann held a 49-42 advantage at the break.

Neumann's largest lead in the second half was six points, 60-54. However, with 13:04 left in regulation Keystone had worked its way back into the game and tied the game at 60. The Knights were held scoreless for a six minute span until Walukiewicz hit a jumper. By then, the Giants had built a 15 point lead, 75-60.

That run was the turning point of the game and Keystone came away with the 97-83 win.

Neumann is now 8-10 overall and 5-6 in the conference. The Knights will return home on Wednesday when they host Centenary in CSAC action with a 7:00 PM start.
