ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Men's Basketball team picked up a key conference win Saturday afternoon against Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) rival Rosemont College, 68-49.

Dom Gibson led the Knights with 22 points. Patrick O'Connor netted 15 points. Mark Blount notched 12 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks.

Neumann came into the contest looking to avenge a loss to the Ravens earlier this season. With the score 8-7 Neumann, the Knights went on a 12-2 run for their biggest lead of the first half, 21-9. The Ravens would cut the lead to four, 21-17, with 4:23 left in the half, but the Knights finished the half on a 13-4 run to hold a 34-24 lead at the half. Gibson led the team with 13 first half points.

The Knights came out on fire in the second half and netted the first 10 points and did not allow a Ravens basket until the 16:31 mark. Rosemont would stay neck-and-neck with Neumann for the final 15 minutes, but could not overcome the 20 points and the Knights came away with the 68-49 win. 

Neumann is now 9-11 overall, 6-7 CSAC and will travel to Immaculata Wednesday evening for a conference contest. Tip-off is slated for 8 PM.
