Box Score

ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team strung three sets together to defeat Immaculata University (25-13, 25-12, 25-19) in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Thursday evening.

The Knights stay undefeated in the CSAC (7-0) in a match that lasted 1 hour 14 minutes.

Victoria Limmina was honored before the game for achieving the all-time career leader in digs with 1670.

The volleyball team leaned on a lot of players to get the victory. There weren't many double digit figures but of those were Limmina with 18 digs, Cecily Scavicchio with 16 assist and Ashley Clark with 14 assist. Kelsey D'Imperio managed four blocks.

Caitlin Cantwell only played in the first and third matches, but her leadership on the court was ever present.

“It was great to get an abundance of girls on the court,” mentioned Coach Jespersen. “We are a very deep team and it's important for us to get girls looks on the court. I have a strong belief in our ability to put anyone on the court and not miss a beat. It's a great feeling to have as a coach.”

The Knights are back in action in the Knights Fall Classic Friday October 12th against Rowan University at 7 p.m.
