SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team lost a crucial Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) contest against Marywood University 2-1 Monday afternoon.

The Knights got off to a great start as they scored in the 13^th minute. Neumann was able to get a shot off on target with the goalkeeper making the save, but Chelsa O'Donnell was able to pounce on the rebound and put the ball in the back of the net.

The Pacers would not let the Knights build any momentum as they would tie the score at 1-1 in the 18^th minute.
The Pacers had two shots on goal in the first half and they would score on both opportunities. They scored in the 34^th minute just before the halftime to take a 2-1 lead.

The Knights weren't able to manufacture any other shots at goal for the second half, even though they were able to create chances that went begging.

Lindsey Kasecamp made two saves in the game.

The Knights field hockey team (1-3 record in CSAC) will host Immaculata University on Saturday October 20^th at 11 a.m.
