ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team fell to Gwynedd-Mercy College 6-0 in its final Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) contest on Tuesday evening.

The Griffins jumped on the board early, scoring just 1:05 into the contest. Gwynedd-Mercy would net all six of its goals in the first half.

In the second half, the Knights had some chances, but could not get the ball past the Griffins keeper. The defense came alive in the second half and shut the door on GMC.

Carolyn Bacho had two shots for Neumann and Kenya Woods had one.

Lindsey Kasecamp made 19 saves in net. Jillian DeFina made on defensive save.

Neumann (3-12, 3-4 CSAC) will host Rowan on Thursday afternoon at 4 PM in conference action.
