ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey finished its 2012 season with a 3-2 loss to Albright College on Saturday morning.
Prior to the game, Neumann recognized its seniors: Erica Crabtree, Chelsa O'Donnell, Kelsey Mazur, Ellyn Jones and Heather String.
O'Donnell put the Knights on the board quick, scoring just 1:39 into the game. Albright responded 10 minutes later.
Lindsey Spatola put Neumann up 2-1 in the 20th minute, off an assist from Carolyn Bacho.
With time starting to wind down, the Lions tied the game in the 59th minute. Albright then scored the go-ahead goal in the 61sts minute.
Neumann put some pressure on in the Albright end, but could not get the equalizer.
Lindsey Kasecamp made 11 saves in net.
Neumann finishes its season 3-14.
