ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team wrapped up Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action securing an undefeated conference record and a No. 1 seed heading into the postseason with a 3-0 win over Gwynedd-Mercy Saturday afternoon.
Before the match, the Knights honored its seniors: Victoria Limmina, Cecily Scavicchio, Natalie George and Caitlin Cantwell.
Cantwell came out with a bang and had 11 kills on 15 attempts for a .667 hitting percentage. Katelin Kuklentz was also on fire with 12 kills and a .500 hitting percentage. The team had a hitting percentage of .400 on the afternoon. Scavicchio handed out 30 assists on the teams 38 kills.
Limmina held down the back court with 11 digs. The team had 13 service aces with Kuklentz leading the way with three.
Neumann improves to 21-8 overall and 11-0 in the CSAC. The Knights will have a bye in the first round and will wait for the opponent in the semifinals, scheduled for Thursday.
