ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University Men's Ice Hockey team will be supporting and creating awareness for Movember this coming Friday November 23, 2012 in their game against Cortland State Dragons. The Men's Ice Hockey team will be wearing their special edition Movember jerseys to show their support.
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men's faces, in the US and around the world. With their moustaches, these men raise vital awareness and funds for men's health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.
Men's Ice Hockey has been showing their support throughout the month of November by growing their moustaches and have been raising funds towards Prostate Cancer Foundation, Movember Foundation and Livestrong Foundation through Movember.com. Men's Ice Hockey has their own website: mobro.co/NeumannKnights, where donations can be made and has plenty of information for Movember and the supporting foundations.
Donations will be accepted at the games this weekend and the total amount raised to date unofficially is over $400.
Neumann and Cortland face-off at 7:00 PM on Friday and 3:00 PM on Saturday.
