ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team fell to No. 10 Utica College 3-2 on Friday evening in ECAC West action.

Neumann got on the board first in the first period with a power play goal. Casey Rogers scored from Steve Gervais and Scott Farrell. The Knights held the 1-0 lead at the first intermission.

Utica tied the game up at two, which started the back and forth goals. Chris Bournazos, assisted from Farrell, on another power play goal. The Pioneers would knot the game at two before the second intermission.

Utica netted the only goal of the third period for the eventual 3-2 win. Braely Torris made 27 saves in net.

Each team had major penalties, which the other team killed off.

Neumann is now 1-2 overall and 1-2 in the conference. The two teams will meet again tomorrow night, beginning at 7:00 PM.
