MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team played to a 2-2 draw with Morrisville State College on Friday evening in non-conference action.

After playing to a scoreless first period, Harley Garrioch scored a short-handed goal off an assist from Chris Bournazos. The Mustangs tied the game at one with 48 seconds left in the first period.

Morrisville took a 2-1 lead with a power-play goal with under five minutes left on the clock. Bournazos tied the game at two just over a minute later. Craig Cowie and Dan McDougall assisted on the game-tying goal.

There were a lot of shots between the two teams, with the Mustangs having 50 and the Knights with 47. Ben Curley made 48 saves in net.

Neumann is now 4-4-2 overall. The two teams will meet again tomorrow afternoon with a 3:00 PM start.
