UTICA, N.Y. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team picked up a huge 5-0 win at No. 10 Utica College on Friday evening in ECAC West Action.

Ryan Dreger netted two goals in the win. Bill Foster picked up a goal and an assist. Ross MacKinnon made 39 saves for the shutout. The Knights held the Pioneers to 0-for-11 on the power play.

Dreger put Neumann on the board 6:04 into the first period off an assist from Foster.

The Knights put three goals in net in the second period, including two in the final 1:25 of the period. Cory Park, from Jordan Zalba and Mike Rey, put Neumann up 2-0 on the power play at the 6:39 mark of the second. Chris Bournazos and Dreger lit the lamp with time winding down in the second and the Knights took the 4-0 lead into the intermission.

Neumann killed off two 5-on-3 penalties in the third period. Foster scored an empty net insurance goal with 6:45 left in regulation.

Neumann (13-7-1, 3-6-1 ECAC West)  and Utica will face-off again tomorrow evening beginning at 7:00 PM.
