ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team tied Hobart College 2-2 on Friday evening in ECAC West action.

Cory Park had a goal and an assist for the Knights. Ross MacKinnon made 27 saves in net.

Hobart opened the scoring just 44 seconds into the game. William Lacasse tied the game on a power play goal at the 4:42 mark. Park and MacKinnon assisted on the goal.

The Statesmen would take a 2-1 lead on the man advantage 2:10 into the second period.

Park would shoot the puck from a tough angle next to the net to tie the game at two with 3:31 left in regulation and send the game into overtime. Marlon Gardner and Brent Tamane drew the assists.

Neither team could break the tie in the extra five minutes.

Neumann (12-6-1, 2-5-1 ECAC West) and Hobart will meet again tomorrow evening in ECAC West action beginning at 7 PM.
