ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's hockey team fell to Hobart College 4-1 on Saturday evening in ECAC West action.

After a scoreless first period, Dave Gervais opened the scoring at the 8:51 mark of the second period. Ryan Dreger and Andrew Love assisted on the goal. The Statesmen then netted four unanswered goals. Hobart tied the game at one at the 19:17 mark. The Statesmen took a 2-1 lead with 1:53 left on the clock in the second and on the power play.

Hobart took a 3-1 advantage 2:51 into the third and then sealed the win with 31 seconds left with an empty net tally.

Matt Tendler made 30 saves in net.

Neumann is now 12-7-1 overall and 2-6-1 in the conference. The Knights travel to Utica next weekend for ECAC West action.
