ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team continued their winning streak Saturday afternoon as it defeated Colonial States Athletic Conference host Rosemont College 20-3.

Neumann held Rosemont to a scoreless first half, scoring 12 goals in the process. Meghan Garsey (sr. Baltimore, Md. / Patapsco) kicked off the scoring rally less than 45 seconds into game off of an assist by Erica Crabtree (jr. Spring City, Pa. / Spring Ford). The Knights would find the back of the net consistently throughout the half to lead the Ravens by 12 at the half.

Neumann would score eight more times in the second half. Rosemont would sneak just three goals past goal tender Lauren Songer (fr. Georgetown, Del. / Sussex Central) to put their mark on the score board.

Garsey led the Knights with five goals and one assist, followed by Lexy Wilkinson (so. Marlton, N.J. / Cherokee) with four goals. Crabtree tallied three goals and three assists for six points on the day. Alexandra Bohen (sr. Wayne, Pa. / Upper Merion) trailed just behind with three goals and one assist. Andrea Lorusso (so. Cinnaminson, N.J. / Cinnaminson) made also her imprint on the game with two goals.

Sam Kotowski (so. Wilmington, Del. / A.I. Dupont) made one save in net to earn the win.

Neumann (6-1, 2-0 CSAC) travels to Cedar Crest College on Tuesday for some more CSAC action. Game is slated for 4PM.
