Box Score

ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team defeated Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) rival Notre Dame of Maryland University 11-4 Saturday afternoon.

Neumann honored senior Alexandra Bohen in a pre-game ceremony. Bohen recently scored her 200th career goal against CSAC rival Immaculata University.

It was a tight first half with only four shots finding the back of the net. Meghan Garsey scored first for the Knights just 45 seconds into the game. Lexy Wilkinson and Koula Gregor added tallies to the 3-1 lead at halftime.

Amanda Fedak opened up the scoring in the second half, aiding Neumann in building a lead over the Gators. She would score two more times before the final buzzer.

Shots by Suzanne Sheehan, Erica Crabtree, and Andrea Larusso would fly past Gator's goal keeper Mary Briggs, putting three more marks on the scoreboard. Bohen also scored twice and assisted once for three points on the day.

Goalkeeper Sam Kotowski made 14 saves in net to earn the win.

Neumann (10-4, 5-2 CSAC) will host Marywood University on Monday in their final regular season home game. Game is slated to begin at 7PM.
