Swarthmore, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team dropped an 18-7 decision to non-conference Swarthmore College, Tuesday evening.
The Knights were led by Alexandra Bohen, Meghan Garsey and Erica Crabtree, all scored two goals each.
Swarthmore opened the game going on a 12 goal run. The Knights drew back two goals before halftime from Bohen and Crabtree, as the Phoenix took a 12-2 lead into the break.
The Knights would score the first two goals to start the second half from Bohen and Garsey. The Phoenix would answer with the next six goals. The Knights scored three consolation goals at the end of the game.
The most revealing statistic would be the 25-2 draw control ratio that the Phoenix clearly dominated in the game.

"We didn't play the way wanted to today, but you can't take anything away from Swarthmore, as they are a very good team," stated Coach Malone. "It is clear that we have things to work on, but hopefully we can fine tune our craft in non-conference games."
The women's lacrosse team travels to CSAC foe's Immaculata University April 10, slated for 4 p.m.
