DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team fell to Delaware Valley College, 5-1, on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.
The Aggies jumped out in the first half and netted four goals.
Chelsa O'Donnell scored the only goal for the Knights in the 47th minute of the game off an assist from Marisa Rizzo.
Neumann got into a rhythm in the second half and allowed just one goal in the final 35 minutes.
Lindsey Kasecamp started the game and made six saves in net. Nicole Gavin got her first collegiate minutes in net and made 16 saves.
“The girls are working hard and we are focused on getting fired up for our first home on against Wilson on Tuesday,” said Coach Sarah Kurpel.
Neumann will have its first home game on Tuesday when it hosts Wilson beginning at 4:00 PM.
