ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team defeated Centenary College in straight sets, 3-0, on Thursday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
Before the game, the two seniors, Gianna Jones and Katelin Kuklentz were honored.
Kuklentz led the offense with 18 kills on 26 attempts and just one error for a hitting percentage of .654. The team had a hitting percentage of .350 for the match.
The team totaled 22 service aces, led by Kat Wolf with seven. Danielle Kwapisz had five service aces. Julia Malseed and Megan McGarrigle each added three.
The win was a total team effort as 15 Knights saw time on the court.
Kwapisz picked up her services aces consecutively in the first set as she serves nine straight points and the Knights held a 9-1 lead.
In the third set, Wolf serviced the first 10 points, where she picked up all seven of her aces.
Neumann (19-10, 7-1 CSAC) will travel to Marywood on Saturday afternoon for a 3:00 PM CSAC match.
