OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team fell in ECAC West action 2-1 to Oswego State in overtime on Saturday afternoon.

Lauren Cusack started the Knights out with a goal midway through the first period. Megan Russelo and Shanelle Doucette drew the assists.

The Lakers came back and tied the game at one midway through the third period on the power play. In overtime, Oswego netted the game winner with 41 seconds remaining.

Justina Mayr played an outstanding game in net and made 36 saves.

Neumann is now 1-3 on the season and 0-1 in conference action. The two teams will meet again tomorrow afternoon beginning at 3:00 PM.
