ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team will head to Cabrini College in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) semifinal action on Wednesday afternoon. The game is slated to begin at 4:00 PM.
Neumann finished the regular season.8-11 overall and 4-3 in conference action. The Knights are the No. 4 seed in the postseason.
The Knights are led Jess Harrell and Lindsey Spatola offensively. Harrell has 18 goals on the season, including two goals with hat tricks. Spatola has netted 13 goals and eight assists. Jordan Hopkins has netter seven goals, three of which have been game-winners.
Lindsey Kasecamp has anchored the Knights in the cage. In 14 games, she has a 2.21 goals-against-average.
Earlier this season, Neumann fell to Cabrini 4-1. Becky Guinto tallied the only goal for the Knights. Alexa McIntyre had the assist of a penalty corner.
In the other semifinal game, No. 2 Gwynedd Mercy hosts No. 3 Immaculata. The winners will meet on Saturday for the CSAC Championship at the highest remaining seed.
